Master Manipulator

I'm not sure why but it seems my kids teeth are coming out every other day lately. Yesterday Aric pulled out another one and I didn't think anything of it. That was until he reminded me that he "knows" about the tooth fairy. This is how are conversation went:

Aric: Am I going to get any money for this?

Me: No.

Aric: Well, you know if there is no money when I wake up then the "kids" will start to wonder why and I wouldn’t want them to find out about the tooth fairy.

Me: I gave him two bucks.

Grandma Toothfairy

Grandma B. had the pleasure of playing toothfairy for Avery while Jess and I were on our Bend trip this year. Thanks to "uncle" Kevin Avery now believes that when you lose your tooth at grandma's house not only does she bring you money but candy too! I'm sure we'll pay him back one day when he has kids.

107 degrees = HOT, HOT, HOT

I tried not to complain but it was impossible. Riding on a motorcycle when it's 107 degrees in long pants and boots is completely unbearable. It was at this point I was kicking myself for worrying about safety and not throwing on my swimsuit to ride in. It wasn't until we reached Mt Hood that I felt like I could breathe again and finally start to enjoy our mini-vacay and annual trip to the Wolsky B&B. Gracious hosts that they are we had a fabulous time and hit all our favorite spots and some new ones....

Yes there were times that we weren't sure but he made it......Cade is 8! These past few months he has been an absolute gem as his birthday approached and even though I know it was all to butter us up for some gifts I don't care! He's been great!! Happy birthday kiddo...now we can count down to Christmas!
