Leaving a legacy

Melvin Richard Murray

1915-2009

For our family it’s impossible to focus on only one memory. Grandpa was a man of little words but many actions that fill our hearts and minds full of memories. Here are just a few that make us smile:
Black coffee, comics, a penny for a pine cone, Enchanted Forest, three strands of hair that he would never cut, The Price is Right, fried tacos, fill-in puzzles, quilting, cheese and olive pizza, Jeopardy, donut holes, grandfather clocks, feeding the ducks, push lawnmower, kiss on the cheek, his glasses, church, candy box in the car, his recliner chair, cribbage, roasted almonds, mince meat pie, the camp meeting snack shack, wood working, math, suspenders, baseball hat and three kisses for grandma.

O' Christmas Tree

Another year, another tree and another video. The boys did not disappoint this year as they showed their "teamwork" in cutting down our Christmas tree. I truly believe they will be best friends one of these days and until then God is just teaching me patience.
